BWS is the Bulgarian National Institute representing all of those involved in welding and related activities e.g. NDT. It is a member
of the European Welding Federation. Over 70% of its member companies are SMEs, including SME inspection service providers and other
companies involved in NDT. BWS is a key played in developing and administering NDT qualification and certification schemes within Bulgaria,
and ensuring that these conform to the requirements of EN473 - Requirements for the certification of NDT personnel.
Reasons for participating
BWS recognises how this project will impact the radiographic service industry throughout Europe and are keen to provide increased
opportunity for their NDT member companies to share in the potential business opportunities.
Contribution to project
Identify and keep local NDT service companies aware of the project and how they will be able to benefit by taking on the newly
developed technology
