CIT Ltd (the lead SME co-ordinator) is an information technology solutions company with 13 full time permanent employees and a turnover of
3 million Euro. CIT is dedicated to applying Information & Imaging technology for the identification of profit improvement opportunities for
their clients through better X-ray NDT software and associated systems. CIT is successfully flourishing and is an established choice of
partner for many large blue chip companies. WP C4 is main work-scope for CIT.
For CIT, this project is consistent with their current management strategy of increasing their share in the NDT software and hardware market. This together with their already proven expertise in the technology area of X-ray inspection will consolidate their market share in the sales of Computed Radiography X-ray systems. CIT will see substantial international sales potential for its integrated CR system. In acting as lead SME co-ordinator, it will be CIT's role to monitor and co-ordinate the activities of the other SME Workpackage Leaders
