Tecnitest is a NDT engineering company (with 20 full time employees and many sub-contractors) addressing its activity to different
industrial sectors with a well defined goal: optimisation of inspection cost, time and reliability. Tecnitest also manufactures and
integrates advanced NDT inspection systems. The equipment has been designed around customer needs and modifications can be made easily
for specific applications. They are also specialist NDT software developers and are experienced in developing defect recognition algorithms
for a number of different NDT techniques. Tecnitest are interested in R&D projects at European level concerning NDT. They are well
suited to making a significant contribution to this project because of their specialist knowledge and experience in integrating NDT systems
and developing custom designed NDT software particularly relating to component and defect recognition. Successful completion of the
project will lead to further software development work for defect recognition software.
