KCC are helping to provide effective business solutions in an increasingly complex world of Information Technology. We have real world experience in providing consultancy, development, implementation, support and maintenance.

KCC serve clients in the best possible way so that they can realise their visions. As a result, the client base ranges from small businesses to multinational banks and financial institutions. This experience has given them a strong understanding of business related issues and their dependence on data integrity and the need for accurate, timely information. KCC are computer software specialists and will be strongly involved in development of pattern recognition software algorithms for component display and defect identification and assessment. These will be used to identify defects in the images obtained via the novel radiographic method. They have been chosen by the consortium SMEs because of their excellent reputation and specific expertise in computer software.

Reasons for participating
KCC recognise that with the growth and new applications of digital radiography, defect reconstruction/recognition becomes a viable and beneficial prospect for industrial 'end users'. As a high technology SME they are well positioned to capitalise on this new market sector.

Contribution to project
KCC's role in the project will be to develop pattern recognition software (WP-E) as applied to weld profiles and weld defects for use with the phosphor screen computed radiographic system
